CD's will be obsolete. I'm betting money on it.

The idea of going out to the record store is no longer a luxury to people.

I remember how it felt to know my favorite artist was coming out with an album, and how I'd be there at Wal*Mart at 12am to be one of the first to get it.

It's not like that anymore. No one is excited like they used to be because they've got downloads, and Itunes.

Saying "I have "So-and-so's" CD" gets me all kinds of weird looks now lol.

Like..."You still use CD's??"

Why aren't people recognizing this talent??

I hate the music biz lol. Anyway, Paolo is amazing. Please believe it.

Writer's Block: Another sleepless night

Do you suffer from occasional or frequent insomnia? Do you have any special tricks or remedies? How does it impact your life?

I have suffered from insomnia since I was 13 years old. It started when my grandmother passed away, and I couldn't 'unsee' her laying in her coffin.

I would stay up until the sun came up. It's so draining when I can't keep things from bothering me in the middle of the night now...

Now, being 28, I have the option of drinking a glass of red wine to wind down, but that could lead to worse things.

And I have children, so I don't want that.

I've taken up doing sit ups right before bed. It kinda wears me out and when I get upstairs to lay in my bed, it's much easier to convince my body to shut down.

And it keeps the belly tight, so it doesn't hurt. :)

Writer's Block: Snark, who goes there?

Have you ever said something to an online friend that you would never say in person? Do you think it's easier to discount real feelings when a relationship takes place largely online? Can the emotional disconnect become habit-forming?

Oh, yes.

I think I've had arguments on line that I wouldn't dare have in person.
And have said way too many things annonymously as if it changes the fact that I've said it, lol.

I think in cases like ONTD, there are LOADS of people who are saying things that they wouldn't say in real life.

I wish they would opt to be more REAL rather than saying things to hurt people's feelings and hiding behind their keyboards.

*looks under her keyboard, and next to her printer* Nope. No subject.

I am Shell.

I seek nothing more than to be myself.

I need no approval.
